Leg extension machine- had a great opportunity to train at one of the most legit gyms on earth. Very few gyms have this leg extension machine! It distributes weight throughout the quads instead of the knees. Thank you @the_nancinator95 for showing me this iron heaven!
I am training legs, with a focus on quad isolation. When preforming this exercise I like to start with a slow controlled tempo. Squeezing my quad muscle each repetition, then moving to a fast intense engagement. This dichotomy helps push the muscle to failure even when fatigued. I focus on 15 slow controlled repetitions then 15 fast intense ones for 4 sets.
